Bangs comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Liquid Soul - Devotion (Ace Ventura Remix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bangs closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Karate did well to prevent Bangs getting side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Karate moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Bangs throws an elbow that misses. Karate uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bangs's guard. Nice move by Karate!

Karate drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bangs dives on top into guard.

Bangs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Karate can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bangs is looking to sweep but instead, Karate has passed into half guard.

Karate is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
