Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mica Makaaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Uzi might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Slipknot's Psychosocial . Makaaja has chosen BassLovers United - I Can't Dance as his entrance music. Roger Uzi has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makaaja closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Makaaja is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Uzi is just riding it out for now. Makaaja eventually gives up the hold.

Makaaja shoots in for a double leg but Uzi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Mica Makaaja has been cut.

Uzi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Makaaja shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uzi but Uzi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Makaaja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uzi as he jumps to the side.
Uzi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Makaaja.
Makaaja misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Uzi uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Makaaja has time to react.
Roger Uzi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Uzi throws a shot from downtown. Makaaja moves away and avoids it.
Uzi throws a head kick but Makaaja moves out of range.
Makaaja takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Uzi misses with a straight left.
Uzi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Uzi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mica Makaaja is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
