Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Stugatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Paulo Stugatz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paulo Stugatz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger Lin!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stugatz throws the left hand but Lin avoids the punch easily.
Stugatz misses the shot to the body.
Stugatz lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Stugatz looks to score with a jab to the body but Lin is just out of range.
Stugatz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Stugatz closes the distance and clinches.
Stugatz misses with some punches.
Stugatz pushes off an throws an elbow but Lin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Stugatz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lin has him pressed against the cage.

Lin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Stugatz is trying to keep Lin in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Paulo Stugatz.
Lin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stugatz.
Stugatz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lin was well out of range. Poor timing from Stugatz.
Stugatz throws a head kick but Lin moves out of range.

Stugatz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Paulo Stugatz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Lin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stugatz won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stugatz's head.
Stugatz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Stugatz is staying active underneath Lin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lin slips a nice elbow through Stugatz's hands, connecting with Stugatz's forehead.
Lin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Stugatz has hold of Lin's hands but Lin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Oh Stugatz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lin creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Stugatz is out cold and this one is all over! Lin climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Roger Lin!
Roger Lin got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
