The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch looks to throw the jab but Touma is out of range.

Fitch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Touma was covering up waiting for the punch and Fitch finishes the takedown easily into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fitch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Touma quickly recovers to half guard.

Touma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fitch moves away.
A combination from Touma does no damage.
Touma shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fitch defends it nicely.
Kajimou Touma is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Touma counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Touma swings for the body but Fitch moves out of range.

Touma controls Fitch momentarily but Fitch frees himself.
Touma might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fitch haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
