The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Mazaki. No joy for Gustilo on that attempt.
Gustilo shoots in and drives through. Mazaki sprawls well.
Gustilo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kosi Mazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marvin Gustilo.
Gustilo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mazaki.
Kosi Mazaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mazaki.

Mazaki lands a big uppercut and Gustilo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gustilo looks OK. Mazaki waves Gustilo back to his feet!

It looks like Marvin Gustilo has been cut.

Mazaki drops Gustilo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Gustilo! Mazaki dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

In his post fight interview, Kosi Mazaki started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
