Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tero Karhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos The Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Karhula!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos The Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhula misses with a straight left.
Karhula moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The Cannon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Karhula lands an overhand right.
The Cannon ducks under a wild hook from Karhula.
The Cannon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karhula pinned against the cage. Karhula gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Cannon doesn't manage to clinch there - Karhula circles away.

The Cannon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karhula sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten The Cannon somewhat.
The Cannon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Karhula.
Karhula looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The Cannon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The Cannon moves away from the strike by Karhula.
Karhula looks to land a right hand but The Cannon moved out of range.
The Cannon walks into a left hand.
Nice shot lands for The Cannon.

The Cannon moves in looking to clinch but Karhula pushes him off.
Karhula throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. The Cannon was covering up waiting for the punch and Karhula finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The Cannon has his hands on Karhula's head, controlling the position.
Karhula landing some decent shots from guard.
The Cannon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Karhula off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

The Cannon misses the shot to the body.
Karhula fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. The Cannon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karhula slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Karhula circles away from the clinch attempt
and Karhula counters with a right hand that sends The Cannon tumbling to the canvas! Can Karhula finish him? He dives into The Cannon's guard looking to do just that!
The Cannon is rocked!
The Cannon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Karhula doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Karhula manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The Cannon is still in real trouble! Can Karhula finish him?

Karhula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Karhula postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The Cannon seems to have recovered his senses.
Karhula lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The Cannon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The Cannon is looking to stand up but Karhula isn't so interested in that idea.
Karhula throwing strikes from guard but The Cannon blocks nicely.
Karhula cracks The Cannon with a solid left hand.
Karhula is looking to work some ground and pound but The Cannon has wrist control.
Karhula stops The Cannon from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Karhula stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Cannon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karhula is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Karhula won't allow The Cannon to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Karhula won't allow The Cannon to sweep him here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Karhula advances position into side control!
Karhula tries to advance position but instead The Cannon slips a leg back in to half guard.
The Cannon tries to get to full guard but Karhula has control of the leg.
The Cannon makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Karhula tries a low kick but The Cannon avoids it.
The Cannon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Karhula sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tero Karhula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos The Cannon.
Karhula dodges the punch combination from The Cannon.
Karhula works the jab nicely.
The Cannon throws a right and a left that Karhula avoids nicely.
Karhula tests The Cannon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karhula digs a good hook to The Cannon's body.
Karhula waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract The Cannon. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped The Cannon to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Carlos The Cannon has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karhula loads up on a big left hand. The Cannon felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Karhula looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! The Cannon can't hide his disappointment, as Karhula celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tero Karhula!
