Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cecil Peoples (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peoples comes to the cage accompanied by Party People by Nelly Featuring Fergie. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donnie Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peoples needs to keep his hands up - Jackson had a free shot at his head there.
Peoples throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Peoples swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peoples misses with a few strikes there.
Peoples dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Jackson drives through and clinches with Peoples against the cage.
Peoples is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Peoples down to the mat. Peoples avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Peoples manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has Peoples in his guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cecil Peoples.
