The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Doom, right into the meat.
Doom connects with a body shot that sends Brigglett's belly button to the back.

Dane Brigglett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brigglett thuds his right hand into Doom's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Doom moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Brigglett is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doom shoots for a takedown but Brigglett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Doom closes the distance and clinches up with Brigglett, looking for a takedown. Doom pushes Brigglett against the cage but Brigglett circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Doom loads up on a big right hand but Brigglett slips the punch.
Brigglett's corner calls for a 1-2. Brigglett obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Doom glances at the clock... BAM! Brigglett nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Doom crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Doom is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
