The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashmalin scores with a hook.
Hashmalin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hashmalin jabs Kenei to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Hashmalin clinches up with Kenei and pushes him back against the cage.
Hashmalin lands a shoulder strike.
Kenei keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hashmalin's efforts to push away.
Hashmalin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Kenei is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Kenei drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hashmalin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kenei drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hashmalin pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hashmalin throws a series of punches but Kenei avoids them all with ease.

Kenei drives through with a takedown into Hashmalin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Hashmalin wants to stand up but Kenei is controlling him.

Hashmalin trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Kenei not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hashmalin wants to stand but Kenei is controlling the position.
Kenei slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Hashmalin.

Hashmalin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kenei off and cradles Hashmalin's limp body as Kenei celebrates with his corner.
