Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyao shoots in for a double leg but Fox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fox connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miyao momentarily.
Miyao has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Fox throws a leg kick which misses Miyao's front leg but catches the back leg as Miyao tries to avoid it.
Fox is looking to clinch.
Fox throws out a loose jab but Miyao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miyao uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fox.

A nice inside leg kick there by Fox. That's going to slow Miyao down.
Miyao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Fox looks to throw the jab but Miyao is out of range.

Fox fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miyao, pushing him back against the cage.
Fox lands a shoulder strike.
Miyao drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fox pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fox ducks under a wild hook from Miyao.

Fox throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fox catches Miyao with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fox cracks Miyao with a good jab.
Miyao throws a right hand that Fox ducks under and follows up with a left that Fox also avoids with ease.
Fox will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Fox instigates a clinch.

Fox cracks Miyao with a nice body shot.
A right hook to the body lands for Fox.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miyao swings wildly with an uppercut but Fox uses good head movement to avoid it.
Miyao misses with some punches.
Miyao goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fox prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Miyao. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Miyao is looking to control Fox's arms but Fox gets an underhook and turns him. Now Miyao has his back to the cage.
Miyao has a couple of punches blocked by Fox.

Fox breaks the clinch.
Fox scores with a jab. Miyao acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Miyao fails with a takedown attempt.
Fox lands with a hook. Miyao tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ferdinand Fox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Miyao throws a combination that misses
and Fox counters with a right hand to the body.
Fox gets in close and tags Miyao with a short punch that almost sends Miyao to the mat! Oh Miyao is in big trouble! He turns his back on Fox, trying to create some distance but Fox rushes him, striking wildly and Miyao goes down! The referee tackles Fox into the cage to end the fight! Fox is one violent man!
