Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Priebcko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA. Priebcko has chosen Sweet Dreams as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Machida finds it's way through Priebcko's defenses.
Priebcko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Priebcko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Machida checks the leg kick.
Priebcko lands with a right hand.
Priebcko wants to clinch up but Machida keeps it at a distance.
Priebcko lands a jab to Machida's midsection.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Priebcko misses with a low kick.
Machida throws a hook but Priebcko blocks it.
Priebcko lands a slapping body shot.
Priebcko tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Machida throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Machida's corner calls for a 1-2. Machida obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Priebcko throws a low kick, looking for Machida's leg but Machida calmly moves out of range.
Priebcko misses with a leg kick
and Machida counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Machida buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Priebcko takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Priebcko looks winded!
Machida avoids the body shot from Priebcko.
Priebcko throws a lazy right hand but Machida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Machida listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Ivan Priebcko has been cut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Priebcko.
Machida checks a low kick from Priebcko.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Machida.
Machida looks to land a right hand but Priebcko moved out of range.
Machida throws a jab when Priebcko was well out of range.
Machida cracks Priebcko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Priebcko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Priebcko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Machida.
Priebcko looks to score with a jab to the body but Machida is just out of range.
Machida stuffs the takedown attempt from Priebcko. Priebcko gets slowly back to his feet.
Machida feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Priebcko's calf.
Machida pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Priebcko back to the cage. Machida follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Ivan Priebcko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida drops Priebcko with a huge uppercut! Priebcko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Machida is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Renzo Machida!
Renzo Machida was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
