PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ripp Arrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunnah Hadith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hadith has chosen Been Away Too Long- Soundgarden as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Arrm sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Arrm takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Arrm dives in and grabs Hadith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hadith pushes down on Arrm's head and hops out.

It looks like Ripp Arrm has been cut.
Hadith misses with a body shot.
Arrm misses with a takedown attempt - Hadith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hadith is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hadith has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Arrm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hadith has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Arrm is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hadith.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hadith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Arrm has time to react.
That kick from Hadith tenderised Arrm's leg. Arrm is trying to keep his angry face on.

Arrm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Arrm shoots for a double leg takedown but Hadith sprawls well. He's pushed Arrm's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Arrm throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hadith's waist but Hadith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arrm off to one side.

Hadith bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Arrm's head backwards.

Arrm is rocked!

Ripp Arrm's cut is getting worse.
Hadith lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Arrm is looking to close the distance but Hadith sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Arrm crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Arrm is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
