Cornholio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Du Hast by Ramstein - Cornholio Mix. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hand has closed the distance and engaged Cornholio in a clinch.
Hand throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hand gets underhooks to prevent Cornholio's takedown attempt.

Cornholio pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hand rushes Cornholio and presses him up against the cage.
Cornholio jumps guard but Hand turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Cornholio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cornholio drives through and clinches with Hand against the cage.
Cornholio wants to get back to striking at distance but Hand won't allow it.

Cornholio pulls guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Cornholio is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Hand throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hand lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Great Cornholio has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hand lands a nice knee to the body.
Hand using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cornholio has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Cornholio is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hand to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Great Cornholio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hand with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hand unloads a knee to the mid-section. Cornholio lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hand tries to land a knee to the head but Cornholio blocks with his arms.

Cornholio manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Cornholio manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hand manages to get himself to full guard.
Cornholio works over Hand with some ground and pound from guard.
Cornholio throwing strikes but missing.
Hand has momentary wrist control but Cornholio slips an elbow through the middle.

Cornholio slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Cornholio has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hand is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cornholio yanks on the arm and Hand is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cornholio.
