Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem's entrance music is Anthem. A fine choice. Marciano has chosen DEAD MAN'S GUN as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Marciano looks to score with a jab to the body but Overeem is just out of range.
Marciano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Overeem manages to avoid it.

Overeem has managed to clinch.
Marciano lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Marciano swings wildly with an uppercut but Overeem uses good head movement to avoid it.
Overeem throws a knee to the head but misses.
Overeem lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Marciano backwards.
Overeem blocks a body shot from Marciano.
Marciano works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Marciano lands a nice hook to Overeem's body. Overeem takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Marciano explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Marciano lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Overeem has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Overeem there as he acknowledges the shot.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Marciano.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Marciano.
Marciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Overeem. That did some damage!

Overeem takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Marciano throws a leg kick which misses Overeem's front leg but catches the back leg as Overeem tries to avoid it.
Overeem with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Marciano to score with a decent uppercut.
Marciano is looking to land body kicks.
Marciano takes a swing at Overeem's ribcage but misses.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Overeem crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marciano - the referee stops the clock and Overeem gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marciano. Overeem manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Marciano feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Overeem's calf.

Marciano darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Marciano lands a big head kick that sends Overeem tumbling to the mat! Marciano takes a step backwards and waves Overeem back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Overeem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marciano scores with a kick to the midsection.
Marciano thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Overeem if he has to take too many more of those.
Overeem seems to have got his legs back now.

Marciano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Overeem looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Overeem checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Overeem tries a head kick but it misses.
Overeem is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Marciano digs a good hook to Overeem's body.
Marciano buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Overeem will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Overeem doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marciano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Overeem's head.
Overeem gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Marciano sends Overeem crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Marciano is motioning to the referee to let Overeem up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Marciano cracks Overeem with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Overeem tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Marciano pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Overeem is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
