Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Saint Randy!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman blocks a jab.
Roman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Saint Randy.
Roman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Roman misses with a hook.
Roman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Saint Randy lunges at Roman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Roman's hand.
Saint Randy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Roman's waist but Roman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saint Randy off to one side.
Saint Randy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Saint Randy somewhat.
Dante Gael Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Saint Randy.
Saint Randy looks winded!
Roman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Saint Randy fails to land the takedown.
Saint Randy drops his hands momentarily and Roman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Roman lands a jab to the nose.
Roman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Roman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Saint Randy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Roman swivels and escapes.

Roman slaps away a takedown attempt from Saint Randy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Roman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Saint Randy sprawls well initially but Roman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Roman throws a nice looking combination but Saint Randy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roman dives in and scores a takedown into Saint Randy's guard.

Saint Randy moves into range and clinches up with Roman.
Saint Randy tightens his grip and picks Roman up, before dumping him to the ground. Roman manages to land in guard.
Saint Randy wants to stand but Roman is controlling his posture from full guard.

Roman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Roman cracks Saint Randy with a hook to the temple - Saint Randy is on wobbly legs here! Roman swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Saint Randy falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Roman wins by TKO!
