Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Strummer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Joe Strummer has been cut.
Maximus takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Maximus throws a shot from downtown. Strummer moves away and avoids it.

Maximus shoots in looking for a takedown. Strummer tries to sprawl out of it but Maximus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strummer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
