The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King.
Ryan King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hawkins gets a double leg takedown into King's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hawkins stops King from standing up.
Hawkins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of King's head.

King is rocked!

It looks like Ryan King has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hawkins loads up on a big left hand. King felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hawkins looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! King can't hide his disappointment, as Hawkins celebrates the victory.
