Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alzra Necromancer!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franks gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Necromancer wants to get back to striking at distance but Franks won't allow it.
Necromancer can't break the clinch.
Necromancer tries to land knees in the clinch but Franks avoids the damage to the body.
Franks stalling.
Franks keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Necromancer's efforts to push away.

Franks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Franks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Franks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Franks looks to land a combination. Necromancer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Necromancer creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Necromancer has a couple of punches blocked by Franks.

Franks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Franks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Necromancer misses with a body shot.

Franks staying out of range there.

Franks rushes Necromancer and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Franks unloads a knee to the mid-section. Necromancer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Franks works on Necromancer's body with a couple of short punches.
Necromancer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Franks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Necromancer.
Franks scores with a one two! Necromancer had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Franks lands with a kick to the temple. Necromancer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Franks is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Necromancer can do to turn this around?

Necromancer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Franks was well out of range. Poor timing from Necromancer.
Some bone on bone action there as Franks checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Franks counters with a head kick. That will keep Necromancer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Necromancer is rocked!
Franks throws a switch kick that catches Necromancer on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Necromancer looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Necromancer flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!
