Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Smith trying to control the position but Waby is working away.
Waby is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Smith's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but Waby is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Waby on the ground.
Waby trying to control but Smith postures up.
Smith wants to take a breather but Waby is having none of it.
Waby tries to get to full guard but Smith has control of the leg.

Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Waby seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Waby has wrist control.

Smith distracts Waby with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Waby has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Smith is pushing down on Waby's leg trying to pass to half guard. Waby is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Waby looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Smith is defending well. Waby quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Smith has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Waby celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Scott Waby opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
