Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Berik Yawoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hedrig Pokousha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yawoka comes to the ring accompanied by keep running up that hill. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pokousha closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Pokousha has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Yawoka regains guard immediately.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Pokousha thows a huge punch but Yawoka dodges it nicely.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yawoka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pokousha wants to advance to full mount but Yawoka doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

It looks like Pokousha might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

He's locked it up tight! Pokousha's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Yawoka picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
