The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Vega shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dummy eats them both and turns towards Vega to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Vega lands a two punch combo.
Vega leaves Dummy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dummy takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Dummy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Vega's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dummy pushes down on Vega's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Dummy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Dummy seems to be looking for submissions.
Dummy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Dummy working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Vega looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
