The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Negi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Negi misses with a head kick.

Maxx cracks Negi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Maxx has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Negi to stand back up!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maxx lands an uppercut, right on the button! Negi tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
