Resso comes into the arena with Avenged Sevenfold-Beast and the Harlot blaring out of the sound system. John Wayne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Resso looks for the body kick but Wayne saw that one coming.
Wayne takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wayne has a takedown stuffed.
Resso stuffs the takedown.
Adam Resso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wayne.
Wayne fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wayne blocks a head kick by Resso.
Wayne tries for a takedown but Resso sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Resso throws a sloppy head kick and Wayne moves out of range easily.

Adam Resso decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
