Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filo Bedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir comes to the cage accompanied by Pride. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bedo's choice of entrance music: Every Which Way But Loose. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Noir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Filo Bedo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bedo throws a hook but Noir avoids it easily.

Noir closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bedo wants to improve his position but Noir is controlling well.
Noir tries to pass to full mount but Bedo defends it.

Bedo is refusing to be controlled, as Noir sits in half guard.

Noir is working for a submission of some sort.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bedo is looking to escape.
Bedo tries to roll over but Noir keeps him under control.
Noir wants to pass to mount but Bedo is defending the position.
We've been hearing that Noir has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Noir is thwarting Bedo's attempts to control the position.

and Noir counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bedo's knee momentarily.

Bedo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bedo looks to throw a body kick
and Noir counters with a leg kick.

and Noir counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bedo won't be happy with that.
Noir is looking to take a break and control but Bedo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bedo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Noir asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bedo is not content to let Noir control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Noir trying to control the position but Bedo is working away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Noir working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Bedo is not content to let Noir control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marshall Noir wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bedo misses with a wild body shot.
Bedo misses with an uppercut.
Bedo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Bedo falls off balance throwing a combination

and Noir counters with a single leg into guard. Bedo didn't expect that.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Noir wants to pass the guard but Bedo is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Noir accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Noir is looking to work some ground and pound but Bedo has wrist control.
Noir throwing strikes but missing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marshall Noir dominated that second round.
That's time! Noir's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Noir looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bedo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A bone on bone clash there as Noir blocks the leg kick.
Filo Bedo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bedo tried to score with a low kick but Noir checks it.
Bedo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Noir manages to avoid it.

Bedo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Noir. Noir circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bedo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Noir.

Good work by Noir as he checks the leg kick.
Bedo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Noir was well out of range. Poor timing from Bedo.
Bedo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bedo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bedo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bedo misses with the combination.
Bedo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Filo Bedo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bedo has Noir up against the cage in a clinch.
Bedo tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Bedo prevents the takedown attempt.
Bedo is pressed up against the cage. Noir has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bedo down to the mat. Bedo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A head kick from Bedo lands but Noir takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bedo misses with a body shot.
Filo Bedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bedo misses with a double jab

and Noir counters with a shoot takedown. Bedo fights it but they end up in guard.
Bedo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Noir chips away with some ground and pound.
Noir wants to control from the top but Bedo keeps moving.
Noir passes into half guard.
Noir thows a huge punch but Bedo dodges it nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bedo wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Noir not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Noir with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bedo is not content to let Noir control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Filo Bedo.
I think Bedo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
