Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rob Base (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Fallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Base!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Neil Fallon!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fallon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Base taking punishment in the form of punches.
Fallon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Base is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fallon in side control, throwing shots but Base defends.
Fallon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Base manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fallon is not content to let Base control the position.
Base could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fallon tries to get to full guard but Base has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Base wants to pass the guard but Fallon is defending well.

Base thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Fallon checks a leg kick.
Base lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Fallon can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Base and Fallon drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Base.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Base!
