Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Pablo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Guzman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Guzman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pablo sprawls well. Pablo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guzman gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Guzman has an Americana. Pablo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Guzman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Guzman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
