Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Achilles Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpatrick comes to the cage accompanied by Gentleman. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas throws a leg kick that misses.
Kilpatrick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leonidas manages to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We're going to have a standup here because Luke Kilpatrick wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Leonidas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kilpatrick up against the cage.

Leonidas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kilpatrick has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kilpatrick is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Leonidas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kilpatrick connects with a nice short shot to Leonidas's temple.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luke Kilpatrick.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kilpatrick, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
