The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaepernick lands a big uppercut and Emelio crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Emelio looks OK. Kaepernick waves Emelio back to his feet!
Emelio is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Emelio is still on wobbly legs! Can Kaepernick finish him?
Kaepernick displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Emelio.
Kaepernick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Emelio seems to have recovered his senses.
Kaepernick ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kaepernick lands a slapping body shot.
Kaepernick lands the left hand.
Kaepernick fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Emelio looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Emelio takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Emelio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Emelio is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Emelio is holding his hands too far apart here. Kaepernick throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Emelio is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Colin Kaepernick!
After winning the bout, Colin Kaepernick thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
