Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Metal Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Mendes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripper comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Metal ripper. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Metal Ripper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Mendes!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes avoids a kick to the body.
Ripper shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mendes eats them both and turns towards Ripper to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


It looks like Jake Mendes has been cut.
Ripper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mendes sprawls well. Mendes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ripper gets slowly back to his feet.
Ripper wants to slow Mendes down by chopping away at his legs.
Mendes avoids the body shot from Ripper.
Ripper takes a shot to the body in his stride.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mendes throws a right hand that Ripper ducks under and follows up with a left that Ripper also avoids with ease.

Mendes closes the distance and lands a one-two.
