Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoe Washburn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is what's new pussycat. Tom Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Washburn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Washburn did well to prevent Jones getting side control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Washburn avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jones.
Washburn gets back to full guard.
Washburn controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Jones works over Washburn with some ground and pound from guard.

Washburn lands an upkick as Jones stands over him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is looking to work some ground and pound but Washburn has wrist control.

Jones wants to control from the top but Washburn keeps moving.
Washburn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jones postures up in Washburn's guard and throws a big left but Washburn blocks it.
Jones won't allow Washburn to sweep him here.
Washburn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Washburn is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jones is nestled in close to Washburn, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jones lands with a punch from half guard.
Jones drops an elbow to the side of Washburn's head.
Washburn tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Washburn won't allow Jones to pass to mount.

Washburn trying to get back to full guard but Jones takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Washburn is desperately trying to improve his position but Jones has a good base and remains in mount.
Jones scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Washburn is rocked!
Jones postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Washburn badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jones around the waist but Jones pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jones is the winner by TKO! Jones jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Jones!
Tom Jones very nearly forgot to thank Just Fight (Everything 7$) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
