The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ieronymakis connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Rank Rox has been cut.
Rox lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ieronymakis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ieronymakis takes one on the button.

It looks like Tasos Ieronymakis has been cut.
Ieronymakis lands a jab to the nose.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ieronymakis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rox takes a swing at Ieronymakis's ribcage but misses.
Some wild striking there from Ieronymakis.
Rox smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rox keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ieronymakis.
Rox is looking to slow Ieronymakis down with leg kicks.
Rox blocks a leg kick.
Ieronymakis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rox.
Rox takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rox looks to throw the jab but Ieronymakis is out of range.
No joy there for Rox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ieronymakis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rox connects with a crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rox.
Ieronymakis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rox. Rox obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick from Ieronymakis lands but Rox takes it in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Rox and Ieronymakis goes tumbling to the canvas! Rox follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Ieronymakis is rocked!

That has opened up Tasos Ieronymakis's cut even more.
Rox controlling the action here.
Rox tries to pass to full mount but Ieronymakis defends it.
Ieronymakis regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ieronymakis controls Rox momentarily but Rox frees himself.
Rox trying to control but Ieronymakis is working from the bottom.

Rox looking to sit in guard and control but Ieronymakis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ieronymakis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rox is controlling Ieronymakis's posture.
Rox looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ieronymakis wants to pass the guard but Rox is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tasos Ieronymakis.
Rox leaves Ieronymakis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A solid leg kick lands there for Rox.
Ieronymakis tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rox lands a nice shot to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Ieronymakis 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Ieronymakis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rox bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ieronymakis's head.

Rox scores with a jab to the head.
Ieronymakis is still on wobbly legs! Can Rox finish him?

The cut above Tasos Ieronymakis's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Rox cracks Ieronymakis with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ieronymakis falls to his knees and Rox doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
