Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nunoy Bermio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and big hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bermio kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Cowboys from Hell. hardon has chosen Ameno as his entrance music. Nunoy Bermio has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hardon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
hardon is looking for a kimura here.
hardon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bermio is trying to get back to full guard.
hardon passes to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bermio tries to lock up and control but hardon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bermio gets back to half guard.
hardon is thwarting Bermio's attempts to control the position.

Bermio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for hardon on the ground.
hardon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bermio has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. hardon is working away from the top position though.
Bermio tries to kick hardon off but hardon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bermio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bermio gets a takedown into half guard.
Bermio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
hardon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for hardon.
Bermio has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

hardon is trying to keep Bermio in close.

hardon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
hardon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bermio manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Bermio managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by hardon.
hardon tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
hardon cracks Bermio with a big right hand but Bermio just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Some wild striking there from Bermio.
Bermio tries for a takedown but hardon circles away easily
so hardon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
hardon trying to control the position from guard on top but Bermio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
hardon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
hardon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

hardon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

hardon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bermio is just riding it out for now. hardon eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
hardon moves nicely into side control.

hardon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bermio controls the position for a moment.
hardon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

hardon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
hardon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bermio is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
hardon goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bermio rolls with the submission and now he's on top in hardon's guard! Nice work there by Bermio!
hardon looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bermio puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

hardon is not content to let Bermio control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
hardon is pressing down on Bermio's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
hardon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bermio trying to control but hardon is working from the bottom.
hardon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bermio's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
big hardon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Bermio is in a horrible position here. hardon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
hardon working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bermio looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by hardon! Submission of the night perhaps?
