The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Christian as he jumps to the side.
Christian fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hughes to the ground. Christian is now in Hughes's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hughes looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Christian is defending well. Hughes quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Christian has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hughes celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
