Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalevi Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukko Metso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metso has chosen Metallica - Seek And Destroy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kalevi Sorsa had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metso slips a jab and a cross from Sorsa.
Sorsa takes one to the chin there.
Metso falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sorsa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Metso's guard now.
Sorsa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sorsa lands a few punches from side control.

Metso is looking to regain half guard here but Sorsa keeps moving and retains side control.

Sorsa grinds an elbow into Metso's temple.

Metso takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The referee asks Sorsa politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sorsa prefers to stall for the moment though.
Metso takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Metso tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sorsa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Sorsa scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Metso is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Sorsa can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kalevi Sorsa!
