The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo lands a jab to Yeo's midsection.
Ricardo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yeo.
Yeo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ricardo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Yeo is breathing heavily.
Yeo fails with a takedown attempt.
Yeo takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Ash Yeo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ricardo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ricardo cracks Yeo with a big right hand and Yeo goes down!

Yeo is rocked!
Yeo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ricardo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yeo's head.

Ricardo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ricardo distracts Yeo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ricardo stands up over Yeo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Yeo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ricardo pushes down on Yeo's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Yeo seems to have got his legs back now.
Ricardo wants to pass to mount but Yeo is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
I looks like Ricardo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Ricardo drops an elbow to the side of Yeo's head.

Ash Yeo's cut is getting worse.

Ash Yeo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Yeo has hold of Ricardo's hands but Ricardo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Jeez, Ash Yeo's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ash Yeo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
