The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Nichols counters with a left to the body.
Nichols uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Martigan.

and Nichols counters with a three punch combo that has Martigan backing up. Martigan nods at Nichols to acknowledge the strikes.
Nichols moves out of range as Martigan throws a body kick.

Nichols postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Martigan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nichols, into his guard.
Oh Martigan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nichols pushes a forearm under Martigan's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Martigan is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
