Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mayko Casimiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Sarto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homer Sarto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mayko Casimiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Homer Sarto!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Casimiro tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sarto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sarto tries to clinch but Casimiro moves out of range.

Sarto gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Casimiro wants to stand but Sarto is controlling his posture from full guard.
Casimiro is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Casimiro gets to his feet - Sarto follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Casimiro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sarto.

Sarto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Casimiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Sarto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Casimiro throws a sloppy head kick and Sarto moves out of range easily.
Casimiro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sarto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Casimiro somewhat.

Casimiro has Sarto up against the cage in a clinch.
Sarto tries to circle away but Casimiro has him pinned against the cage.
Casimiro swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sarto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sarto misses with a few strikes there.
Casimiro throws a body kick that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Casimiro tries to close the distance and clinch but Sarto swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Casimiro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sarto's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
