The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nelson throws out the jab.
Nelson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Nelson swings for the body but Barry moves out of range.
Barry fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Barry fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nelson avoids it really well and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Barry manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Nelson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nelson winds up and cracks Barry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Barry tries to get to full guard but Nelson has control of the leg.
Nelson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Nelson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Barry defend it? Nelson steps over the head and cranks it - Barry is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nelson!
