Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zell Dincht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dincht's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fanfare. Donnie Jackson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zell Dincht's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zell Dincht!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Donnie Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dincht connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Dincht, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Dincht against the cage but Dincht circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jackson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jackson wants to control but Dincht is keeping him busy.
Dincht is trying to get back to half guard.

Jackson tries for a kimura but Dincht is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dincht is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Jackson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dincht is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Jackson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dincht knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dincht, who protects the arm well.

Dincht trying to control but Jackson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Jackson looking to break Dincht's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dincht remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jackson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jackson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Dincht trying to control the hands but Jackson breaks the grip.

Jackson has the hooks in. Dincht is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Dincht looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Jackson is looking for the choke from the back position but Dincht is controlling his hands well.
Dincht tries to roll but Jackson sticks to his back.

Jackson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Dincht defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Dincht rolls, trying to escape but Jackson keeps control of the position.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jackson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dincht drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dincht seems to have locked his on tight now - Jackson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dincht, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Zell Dincht!
A very excited looking Zell Dincht rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
