The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a nice looking combination but Hinderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hinderson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Souza counters with a low kick, right behind Hinderson 's knee.
Hinderson throws a sloppy head kick and Souza moves out of range easily.
Hinderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Horrible takedown by Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by Hinderson which made him look bad.

Souza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hinderson prevents the takedown attempt.
A frustrated look appears on Hinderson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Souza tries for a takedown but Hinderson manages to get underhooks.

Souza is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hinderson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Souza to the mat. Souza regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Souza throws a right hand that Hinderson ducks under and follows up with a left that Hinderson also avoids with ease.

and Souza counters with a good low kick that Hinderson was not able to check.

and Hinderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Souza's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Hinderson counters with a three punch combo that has Souza backing up. Souza nods at Hinderson to acknowledge the strikes.

Hinderson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Souza on his heels. He'll look to pass Souza's guard now, I'm sure.

Souza is working an open guard so Hinderson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
