Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Twilight Saga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melendez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is El Coo Cooi . Saga is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You are going to the Twilight of your Career. Xavier Melendez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saga changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Melendez tries to avoid it but Saga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Melendez to the ground. Melendez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Melendez throws a series of punches but Saga avoids them all with ease.
Melendez delivers a nice body kick.
Saga chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Melendez can pounce on him.
Melendez leaves Saga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Twilight Saga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saga connects with a body shot that sends Melendez's belly button to the back.
The crowd cheers as Melendez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saga doesn't seem phased though.

Saga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Melendez's guard.

Saga shoots in looking for a takedown. Melendez tries to sprawl out of it but Saga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Melendez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Saga is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Melendez! Saga is out on his feet! Melendez rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Saga is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Saga is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
