Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samson Miodek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eaton has chosen The Unforgiven by Apocalyptica as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miodek has Eaton up against the cage in a clinch.
Miodek tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Eaton goes for a takedown in the clinch but Miodek prevents it.

Miodek digs a right hand underneath Eaton's ribcage. Eaton let out a lung full of air as it connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miodek creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Eaton has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Miodek uses from the top position.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Miodek has cracked Eaton with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Miodek lands another huge swinging hook and Eaton tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Eaton, before Miodek can land any more shots!
