Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Run this town-rihhana kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice takedown defense from Aldo. No joy for Carter on that attempt.
Aldo looks to clinch
and Carter counters with a one-two to the body.
Aldo fails to land with a series of punches.

Aldo rushes Carter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Carter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Aldo throws an elbow but it misses.
A frustrated look appears on Aldo's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Carter tries to pull guard but Aldo holds him up against the cage and eventually Carter drops back down to his feet.
Carter prevents Aldo from breaking the clinch.
Aldo keeps control of Carter as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Carter slowing the pace effectively.
Aldo throws an elbow that misses.
Carter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Aldo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Carter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Aldo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Aldo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Aldo misses with an elbow over the top.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left hand lands to the body for Carter.
Aldo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carter has him pressed against the cage.
Carter lands a hook to the side of the head.
Aldo pushes off an throws an elbow but Carter leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Carter blocks the elbow strike.
Carter working hard to break the clinch.
Carter tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Carter scores with a nice hook to the head.
Carter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aldo's efforts to push away.
Carter tries to score a body lock takedown but Aldo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Carter tries a knee to the head but Aldo blocks it.
Aldo wants to get back to striking at distance but Carter won't allow it.
Carter wants to break free but Aldo has control.

Carter wants the takedown. Aldo is fighting it off but Carter persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Aldo's guard against the cage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Carter is standing up over Aldo. Aldo looks to escape but Carter dives into side control.

Carter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aldo throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Carter stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Aldo follows into mount!

Carter is rocked!

It looks like Dwayne Carter has been cut.
Aldo landing strikes from the mount.
Oh Carter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Carter is desperately trying to improve his position but Aldo has a good base and remains in mount.
Aldo connects with a bit shot that sees Carter covering up! More strikes from Aldo and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Aldo is our winner by TKO!
