The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki shoots for a double leg takedown but Kapoor sprawls well. He's pushed Kurosaki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kurosaki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kapoor is out of range.
Kurosaki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kapoor's waist but Kapoor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kurosaki off to one side.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kapoor.

Kurosaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Kapoor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kurosaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kurosaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kapoor as he jumps to the side.
Kapoor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

A punch lands to the side of Kurosaki 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Kapoor darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kapoor connects with a body shot that sends Kurosaki's belly button to the back.
