Beharry comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Redemption Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kirk Lazarus could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Lazarus blocks the leg kick.
Beharry shoots for a double leg takedown but Lazarus sprawls well. He's pushed Beharry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Beharry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lazarus paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lazarus stuffs the takedown.
Beharry thows a body kick. Lazarus tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Lazarus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Beharry tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lazarus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Johnson Beharry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beharry throws a sloppy head kick
and Lazarus counters with a huge left! Beharry is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lazarus isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Beharry from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lazarus!
