The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hidjen is looking to clinch but Hoekstra is avoiding it.
Hoekstra keeps the fight on the outside.
Hidjen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hidjen plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Henk Hoekstra has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hidjen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hoekstra misses with a two punch combination.
Hidjen avoids the body shot from Hoekstra.

Hoekstra clinches up with Hidjen and pushes him back against the cage.

Hoekstra has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hidjen uses from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hoekstra looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hidjen is defending well. Hoekstra quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hidjen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hoekstra celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
