Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sound of Maddness from Shinedown. Werdum comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jedi Mind Tricks - On the Eve of War feat. GZA kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry fails in his attempt to clinch.
Werdum motions for Perry to come forward. Werdum throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Perry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Perry is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

You get the feeling that Perry really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Werdum is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Perry has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Perry!
