Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moacyr Domingos De Matos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ruanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Matos comes to the cage accompanied by Kick Ass. Daniel Ruanti acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Matos changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ruanti thuds his right hand into De Matos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
De Matos goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
De Matos throws an overhand right that lands on Ruanti's shoulder, as Ruanti tries to avoid the shot.
Ruanti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and De Matos counters with a slapping leg kick.
Daniel Ruanti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruanti tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
De Matos moves out of range of the leg kick from Ruanti.
Ruanti takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and De Matos counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

and Ruanti counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
De Matos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as De Matos holds on and takes a little breather.
De Matos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ruanti controls the pace.

De Matos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ruanti manages to get himself to full guard.

Ruanti scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. De Matos doesn't seem bothered though.

Ruanti cracks De Matos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ruanti crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from De Matos - the referee stops the clock and Ruanti gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says De Matos. Ruanti manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and De Matos counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ruanti's knee momentarily.
Ruanti throws a push kick but De Matos slaps the foot to one side.
De Matos takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Ruanti tries to clinch but De Matos moves away
and De Matos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Moacyr Domingos De Matos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ruanti scores with a spinning back kick!
De Matos lands with a shot to the body.

De Matos lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
De Matos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ruanti's head.
and De Matos counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ruanti! He's just covering up as De Matos starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
