The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez avoids the head kick by King.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King chopping away at his opponent's legs.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Martinez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
King misses with a jab, cross combination.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Martinez pinned against the cage. Martinez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
King fails with a takedown attempt.
A combination from Martinez does no damage.
Martinez throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.
King tries for a takedown but Martinez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Weed King. That's going to take a lot out of him.
King throws a head kick but Martinez moves out of range.
King tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martinez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Martinez throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.
Martinez lands a two punch combo.

Martinez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Martinez duly obliges.

It looks like Weed King has been cut.
A left and a right from King both land. Nice combination.
King is breathing heavily.

Martinez drops King with a beautiful combination! King stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Martinez is looking for the KO!

Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

King seems to have got his legs back now.
Martinez steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! King is out on his feet! Martinez sets himself and nearly takes King's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
