The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roscrow throws an off balance right hand
and Cyrus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Roscrow misses with an uppercut. Cyrus saw that one coming.
Cyrus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Roscrow throws a combination that misses
and Cyrus counters with a nice uppercut.
Cyrus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Roscrow just misses with a punch to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cyrus slips under a jab from Roscrow.
Roscrow connects with a crisp jab.
Roscrow scores with a hook to the body. Cyrus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cyrus doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Roscrow throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Roscrow misses with a hook. Cyrus ducked under it nicely.

Roscrow moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Cyrus goes down! Can Roscrow finish him!?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Roscrow passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Oh Cyrus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Roscrow has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cyrus is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Roscrow yanks on the arm and Cyrus is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Roscrow.
